Hobbies

I have many interests. Too many, some might say. Mostly, I love to play with technology. With computers and electronics I can play around with technology and build some pretty fun things, like this web site, for instance.

Aviation I'm back in the cockpit again. There is nothing like flying, especially when the weather is "Severe Clear".

As of Feb, 2003 I've started to learn to play banjo under the tutilage of Rick Taube, owner and proprietor of Northern Pine Studios school of Guitar and Banjo in Lino Lakes, MN.

LEGO LEGO building toys are quite possibly the greatest toys ever invented. I've played with LEGO toys since I was a wee little tot and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. Recently, Jason and I have been experimenting with stop-motion animation using LEGO models. I have also played around with rendering LEGO models (I'll post some finished work soon).

Coding I've posted some examples of useful VBScript and JavaScript code. There are a few other tidbits laying around, too.

Electronics I dabble in electronics, mostly digital circuits. Lately, I've been exploring the world of PIC microcontrollers. I built a controller for a Kodak DC-20 digital camera. The controller and camera combined are light enough to be suitable for use aboard a kite.

Gaming Is it possible to spend too much time playing games?
