Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds

Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds from Lucas Arts is essentially Age Of Empires with Star Wars character skins. With at least one twist: flying units. Take the playability of Age Of Empires, add the tactical versatility of Star Craft and you get Galactic Battlegrounds.

I found the keyboard shortcuts to be less intuitive than in AoE, but the game concepts are very similar.
